About 4 Pets’ Sake
At 4 Pets’ Sake, we consider it a privilege to work in the field of dog walking and pet sitting, and pledge to provide your pet with responsible care and pampering each time you call on our services.
Our Background
Since 2003, 4 Pets’ Sake has been a trusted part of the community, providing loving, reliablecare for pets and the people who love them. After founding the company and building itsoutstanding reputation, Terri Robinson retired in 2024, passing the leash to new owner Michelle Hilaire.
Michelle has spent her life caring for animals and is passionate about helping pets live their happiest, healthiest lives. She is also the owner of Forage Dog Barkery, La Plata’s first and only dog treat bakery, where she creates all-natural treats dogs love. Expanding her commitment to the local pet community, Michelle proudly became the owner of 4 Pets’ Sake Pet Care, an award-winning dog walking, cat sitting, and dog boarding company. Over the years, 4 Pets’ Sake has been honored as “Best Pet Care” by Washingtonian Magazine and has received Southern Maryland News’ “Best of the Best” recognition multiple times.
Michelle and the entire 4 Pets’ Sake team believe that great pet care means never stopping learning. They regularly participate in continuing education and training in pet first aid, dog obedience, animal behavior, Fear Free® care, Animal Reiki, Tellington TTouch®, and pet bereavement support.
Most importantly, we know that every pet is unique. Whether we’re taking your dog for a walk, caring for your cat while you’re away, or welcoming your pet into our care, we treat them like family. Our goal is to give you peace of mind and provide compassionate, personalized care that fits your lifestyle—so you and your pets can enjoy a truly PAWESOME life together.
At the heart of our success is our extraordinary team.
